For the last two weeks I have been waiting for my baby to come but it seems I have made it far too comfy inside me and there has been no sign of the new arrival. I have tried everything and my bump even dropped pretty low leading to me thinking it was ready to come. I kept making plans in my head like ‘I’ll go into labour on Thursday and the baby will come on Friday…’ but after even the membrane sweep didn’t kickstart anything, I realised I probably would be waiting until the induction day.
My last baby free weekend is over and I spent it doing two of my favourite things: watching Harry Potter and baking. And I am so, so excited that tomorrow is my induction day so with any luck I will be coming home with a baby. Or at least by the end of the week I will have my baby.
